INDIANAPOLIS – When the Lynx needed a basket, Seimone Augustus was in the right position at the right time.
Augustus' rebound score as time expired lifted the Lynx to their 10th consecutive victory, 66-64 over the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night.
Lindsay Whalen's 15-foot baseline jump shot rattled around the rim before falling into the hands of Augustus, who finished with 18 points and five rebounds. She was mobbed by her teammates in the free-throw lane when the final buzzer sounded.
"They collapsed in [the middle] and Lindsay got a great look at the basket," Augustus said. "I was just in great position to get that tip-in rebound."

The thrilling ending capped a nip-and-tuck fourth quarter in which neither team led by more than two points.
The game entered the final period knotted at 56-56 following a successful trey by the Fever's Marissa Coleman.
Minnesota trailed by as many as 15 early on, though, with a triple from Karima Christmas just over a minute into the second quarter staking Indiana to a 32-17 advantage. The Lynx answered with an 11-2 run to get within six, and were down by the same margin after Coleman's jumper in the waning seconds of the first half put the Fever up 44-38 at intermission.
