The big LA Fitness building in St. Louis Park has been sold for $13.9 million.

CBRE's Twin Cities office reports that the building, located at 3555 Hwy. 100 S., was purchased by National Retail Properties of Orlando. (CBRE represented the seller, Private Capital Group of Minneapolis.) LA Fitness will stay in the building.

The 48,000-square-foot Class A retail site is considered a "trophy quality investment property occupied by one of the most-respected retail brands in the U.S.,"says CBRE's Jim Leary.

The site is on a major highway interchange that is visible to more than 100,000 vehicles a day on Hwy. 100. Other significant retailers and businesses in the area include Target, Byerly's and Park Nicollet Clinics.
