Pekovic finishes third in NBA Most Improved Player voting

Orlando's Ryan Anderson wins honor that Kevin Love won last year

Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic finished third in media voting that chosen Orlando's Ryan Anderson the NBA's Most Improved Player today.

Pekovic received 10 first-place votes and finished with 104 total points from first, second and third-place votes, behind Anderson's 260 total points and Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova's 159.

Players got five points for a first-place vote, three for a second-place vote and one for a third-place vote.

Kevin Love got one first-place vote and three third-place votes after winning the award last season.
