All-Star Home Run Derby at a glance

For the second year in a row, the Home Run Derby will feature a bracket, with participants seeded based on their home run totals through Wednesday. Again, each batter gets four minutes, with bonus time awarded on homers going at least 440 feet. Ties will be broken by a 60-second swing-off, with no additional time added. Todd Frazier won last year's event in Cincinnati, when he played for the hometown Reds; now with the White Sox, he's the second seed, behind Baltimore's Mark Trumbo.
