Plymouth-based All Over Media, a leader in outdoor and alternative advertising, has acquired Trans Media Group, another Twin Cities out-of-home advertising company whose clients include SouthWest Transit. Terms were not disclosed.

All Over Media CEO Tony Jacobson and the late Jim Arabanos, founder of Trans Media, were onetime partners who started AJ Indoor and capitalized on the fast-growing market for restroom advertisements in bars and restaurants. Arabanos died in November. He was 48.

The acquisition of Trans Media gives All Over Media a presence in nearly 600 indoor venues and on SouthWest Transit buses.

All Over Media will do more than $40 million in revenue this year, Jacobson said. The firm has 125 employees and a full-service print shop in its new 30,000-square-foot headquarters.

Jacobson said All Over Media is adding new large-format advertising to its services as well as indoor digital advertising.
