The Twins and White Sox finish their three-game series at Target Field today (12:10 p.m., BSN) with Matt Shoemaker pitching for the Twins against Chicago's Lucas Giolito.

The Twins got three home runs from Miguel Sano and a walk-off single from Jorge Polanco to win 5-4 on Tuesday. Bailey Ober made his major league debut for the Twins.

Starting pitcher Michael Pineda, who had a cyst removed from his inner thigh, was put on the 10-day injured list and pitcher Luke Farrell was recalled from St. Paul.

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said Alex Kirilloff (wrist) will have a rehab stint with the Saints, DHing today for St. Paul. If that goes well, he'll get a start in the outfield there.

The Twins leave after the game for California, where they have a makeup doubleheader tomorrow against the Los Angeles Angels. Lewis Thorpe and Jose Berrios will be the starters, with Thorpe added as the 27th player for the two seven-inning games.

Baldelli said starter Kenta Maeda (groin) should be good to go for the weekend series in Cleveland.

Shoemaker is 2-4 with a 6.62 ERA. Giolito is 2-4 with a 4.97 ERA.
