Tom Pelissero, a locally based cheese enthusiast now covering the NFL for USA Today, caught up with Vikings running back Adrian Peterson recently on the subject of offensive coordinator Norv Turner. Here are a couple of comments from AP: "I'll tell you, our pass offense has really struggled in the past couple years. I think (Turner) is going to be the perfect guy to come in and get us on the right path."

"He's a brilliant mind, obviously. I'm still sitting back and seeing whatever moves we make as far as coaches and players."

Many members of the Sportive podcast do not agree, but none of them have ever run for 2,000 yards in an NFL season.
