What: TargetTicket.com, video service making content, including 30,000 movie and TV titles, available for purchase, download or streaming. Available on PCs, Macs, Xbox 360, Android and iOS, Roku, Samsung TVs, Blu-ray players

Launch: Expected Oct. 1 launch (perhaps earlier).

Cost: Content will range from 99 cents to $36.99. There is no subscription or sign-up fee, and there is a 5 percent discount for Target Redcard holders.

New movies at launch: "World War Z," "Iron Man 3" and "Now You See Me" in standard and high-definition

TV shows at launch: "Game of Thrones," "Downton Abbey," "Breaking Bad" and "The Walking Dead"
