A round of applause for Brian Stensaas

The big reporting switch has taken place at state volleyball.

And there goes Brian Stensaas, exiting the Xcel Center and heading home, where he will surely be following my updates from VolleyballPalooza for the rest of the day.

I'm sitting courtside, typing with one eye and watching for flying volleyballs with the other eye as Parkers Prairie and Minneota warm up for a 1A quarterfinal. On the other court, where I will focus my attention very soon, Meadow Creek Christian has won two games in a row after being down 2-0 against Nevis. They are in Game 5 with Nevis up 8-5.

The winner will meet Bethlehem Academy in tomorrow's semifinals.
