A look at Lynx games at Target Center

June 25, 2009 at 5:25AM

Location/date attended: Lynx-Seattle game at Target Center; June 12

Itemized cost of attending: $10 admission, $9 parking in attached ramp, $6.50 chicken fingers and fries, $4.50 ice cream cone, $3.75 small soda (but free if you sign up to be an alcohol-free designated driver for your group).

Why someone should attend: Talented players such as Candice Wiggins and Charde Houston make the Lynx worth watching, and the positive, upbeat atmosphere makes it a great environment for families.

Biggest plus: Good, affordable entertainment for kids and adults.

Biggest drawback: Concessions are limited and uninspired.

Did you know? The Lynx Party Zone at the far end of the court includes pop-a-shot and other games, a sport court and other free activities.
