3M Co., Maplewood, has completed the previously announced sale of its safety prescription eyewear business to Lewisville, Texas-based HOYA Vision Care.

3M Co., Maplewood, has completed the previously announced sale of its safety prescription eyewear business to Lewisville, Texas-based HOYA Vision Care.

The safety prescription eyewear business was part of 3M's personal safety business and had annual sales of approximately $45 million.
