Authorities have released the name of the bicyclist who was killed when he was struck by two vehicles Monday night south of downtown Minneapolis.
Dana Leonard Michael Schwan, 32, died of multiple blunt-force injuries, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.
According to police, Schwan allegedly ran a red light at the busy intersection of Hennepin and Franklin avenues at 11:30 p.m., hit a motorcycle, was thrown from his bicycle, landed in the street and was struck again by a vehicle, police said.
He was taken to HCMC, where he died a few hours later.
