If you've never been on a naked kitchen tour, this could be your chance. Minneapolis architect Eric J. Hansen and Steven Cool are hosting a tour of a kitchen remodeling in progress (hence the "naked" tag). The tour, designed to demonstrate the remodeling process from sketching to material selection to price estimating, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at a St. Louis Park house. (The completed kitchen can be seen during the Remodelers Showcase, which runs March 26-28.) The $25 tour includes wine and treats -- and does not involve disrobing. To register, message Hansen at eric@ejhansen.com.

Itching to get your hands in the dirt? This Saturday, you can plant a spring patio container of annuals -- such daisies, dahlias, purple fountain grass and sweet potato vine -- at Mickman's Brothers Garden Center in Ham Lake. And because we're still knee-deep in snow, Mickman's will store your container in its greenhouse, where it'll be ready for pickup by Mother's Day. Bring your own gloves and pruners. They'll provide the plants for a class fee of $19 plus a $20 supply fee. To register, go to www.discovercommunityed.com and click on "Available Courses."

Fear of falling out of a bunk bed is something parents and even some kids might experience. The "Blythe Upstairs Downstairs Loft" is one solution. It's designed with stairs instead of a ladder, which can be configured on either side of the bed. Drawers and the bed front pull out for storage, and additional items can be tucked beneath the stairs. Bonus: the treads are covered with nonskid strips. Made of scratch-resistant melamine, the loft bed can be customized several ways, including bed size and number, color and knobs. The setup pictured measures 84 inches wide, 98 inches long and 65 inches high and costs $1,850. (The nightstand is sold separately.) Available at Totally Kids furniture and toy store, 7876 Portland Av. S., Bloomington; 952-881-2425; www.shoptotallykids.com.
