1. Lip Balm

No need for dry lips. The Minnesota Star Tribune gives away free lip balm at the Strib booth daily. This year’s flavor is Norway Pine. (On Carnes Av. in front of the Grandstand)

2. Blue Flame Lodge

Take a respite from the heat and enjoy the air conditioning inside this building. Freebies from the Minnesota Blue Flame Gas Association include yardsticks, water bottles, coloring books, key chains, can koozies and more. (Nelson St. between Carnes & Dan Patch Avs.; across from the Giant Slide.)

3. KaiBi Mobile Family Care Center

Parents can handle diaper duty and feedings in this climate-controlled environment. Freebies include reusable hot/cold packs, mini bubble wands, fidget toys and push pops. (West side of Underwood St. between Carnes & Judson Avs.)

4. Minnesota Rusco

Sign up for free estimates on home improvement projects as well as scoring a back scratcher, rain poncho and rubber duck. (Lower Grandstand)

5. Project Turnabout

In addition to backpacks, rain ponchos, pens and fly swatters, this booth offers information and educational materials on compulsive gambling and chemical dependency recovery. (Education Building)

6. Minnesota Native Landscapes

Learn how you can make your yard more pollinator-friendly and get a native seed packet. (West side of Underwood St. between Murphy & Lee Avs.)

7. Visit Bemidji

Find out what this Minnesota city has to offer for tourism and get a Babe the Blue Ox foam hat, tote bag and guide book. (Education Building)

8. Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

Free stuff at this booth includes fans, bee lapel pins and monarch butterfly tattoos. (Eco Experience)

9. Idahoan Foods

Make an easy weeknight meal with a sample of mashed potato pouches. (Aug. 28-Sept. 1; Wright Av.)
