A young man was found dead of a gunshot wound in a north Minneapolis alley late Saturday, becoming the city's 33rd homicide of the year.
Officers responding to a 911 call about a shooting found the victim in an alley behind a residence in the 3300 block of Dupont Avenue N. just after 10:15 p.m. The victim appeared to be a male in his late teens, police said.
No arrests had been made. Police did not know the circumstances leading up to the shooting and had no suspects. The Homicide Unit asks that anyone with information about the case call the TIPS line at 612-692-8477.
