Drew Barrymoremight direct an Oz movie:
The plot:
This makes a total of 42 Oz movies in development, not including Eddie Murphy's rumored "The Donkey from Shrek Goes to Oz and Makes Pop-Culture References," which is budgeted at $567 million. (Kidding.) But we're still looking at a welter of Oz in the next few years. It's a pity they couldn't be merged somehow into a coherent series, like "Lord of the Rings," which has orcs, and "Sex and the City," which has orcs in nice shoes. (Both have flying monkeys.)
The title does not answer a childhood question: either Dorothy should surrender herself, or the citizens of the Emerald City should surrender her. A COMMA WOULD HELP.
