Yet another morning update

Lakers coach Phil Jackson talks about the Wolves

November 19, 2010 at 6:31PM

Greetings, again. Talked to Lakers coach Phil Jackson, and he had some interesting things to say:

--On Love's play of late: "I think you can mention Kevin (but) I think really it's the addition of Beasley that has allowed Kevin to have a little more range of latitude in his position," Jackson said. "Because Beasley is such a focus for other teams to have to play. That gift they got from Miami has really worked out well for Minnesota. Kevin is a dog on the boards, he's always there, always pursuing. To have other teams have to focus now on some scoring opens up that avenue even more."

--Jackson on the Wolves' potential to be a good team: "They certainly have a lot of young talent. The talent is going to prevail at some point, if they get their roles down. If they can understand their roles and accept them."

That's it. I just thought he had some interesting things to say and wanted to pass them along. Have a good day.
