Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama compete today for 12 Democratic delegates in Wyoming. Another six, mostly superdelegates, eventually will bring Wyoming's total to 18. Obama, who has done well in smaller Republican-dominated states, is expected to win a majority of them.

On Tuesday, 33 delegates are up for grabs in Mississippi, where Obama is also the early favorite. The relatively small number of delegates in these states, not seen as important weeks ago, have gained value now that the race is down to a numbers game.
