Would Snooki want a Snuggie? At these prices she would.

Cold and snow, cold and snow. Unless you've got a warm weather getaway planned, you're looking for ways to stave off the. um, cold and snow.

Mode (7788 Main St., Maple Grove, 763-391-6102) offers some relief in the form of relaxation slippers, neck warmers, wonder wraps similar to Snuggies and scarves. All are made by the Happy Company, whose products are carried at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

BBB sells them for $20 and $25, but Mode's price is $5 for everything. They're made of fleece, and they have inserts to nuke for a minute in the microwave. Plop the warmed insert into the sweater, neck roll or slippers and chase away the snow and cold for a bit. Mode owner Ciara Stockeland said that the oversized sweater is better than a Snuggie.

The inserts have a lavender fragrance to tie you over until spring or your next visit to the Como arboretum. The sale continues through Sunday, Jan. 16.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
