A superpowered Prince cameo?

Netflix's new Marvel show, "Luke Cage," has punched its way to near-universal acclaim. You know what would have made it even better?

Prince.

That's right, before the Purple One's death in April, series creator Cheo Hodari Coker hoped to get Prince to guest-star on the show. He planned to entice him with one of the show's running motifs, the "Swear Jar" in Pop's barbershop. Prince was a devout Jehovah's Witness, and was rumored to charge visitors up to $20 for swearing inside Paisley Park.

"The Swear Jar was for Prince," Coker wrote on Twitter. "I was going to show him the first two episodes and convince him to play in Episode 13."

The show, about a Harlem crime-fighter, has been a hit among music fans and features such acts as Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.

But what song would Prince have played? Our pick: a reworked version of "Batdance" — without Batman, of course.
