World Series Weather Hits a Home Run

A band of rain was knocking on the doorstep of San Francisco Thursday nightduring Game 2 of the World Series. Now that the series has shifted to the homeof the Texas Rangers, weather will not be a concern this weekend.Delightful weather is in store for Game 3 Saturday evening when the Rangershost the San Francisco Giants. The temperature at the time of the game's firstpitch, scheduled for 6:57 p.m. EDT, is expected to be 74 degrees. Temperatureswill then rapidly fall into the 60s during the game.

Clear skies will allow temperatures to plummet, but will prevent anyweather-related delay or postponement. Players can also expect winds to beblowing from the south at 7 to 14 mph.
