Definition: Smacking up your car because you were texting.

Sample usage: "We had a textident because the Uber driver was typing 'LOL' at cat memes. Wait, am I speaking English?"

Popularity: Much to the chagrin of the police, who are trying to crack down on distracted driving, there's increasing need for the term. Plus, it sounds like toothpaste produced in Houston.
