Word of the week: Generacist

September 7, 2016 at 1:02PM

Definition: Someone who professes negative generalities about other generations.

Sample usage: "Can you believe these generacists? They, like, criticize the way we talk. They are literally killing me."

Popularity: It'll be used by people intent on appending "ist" to everything, even though the number of "ists" tends to dilute the severity of the accusation. But it's a handy term for middle-aged people to throw at millennials if the latter group says something critical. Not that it'll work, but you can try.
