A man from Woodbury was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck Tuesday afternoon in Isanti County, authorities said.
Witnesses told authorities that Alexander Hoss, 29, was driving north on Flamingo Street about 1:10 p.m. when he pulled in front of a dump truck heading east on County Road 10, also known as 285th Avenue NW., just west of Isanti.
The collision split Hoss’ vehicle in half and he was ejected from the vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Hoss, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
The dump truck driver, whose name has not been released, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
