A 19-year-old Woodbury man was arrested for second-degree assault involving a weapon after police -- aided by the Washington County Special Response Team -- searched a home on Wednesday, prompting the partial lockdown of nearby Woodbury High School.

The man was arrested at 1:55 p.m., jail records show, near the intersection of Montrose Road and Woodlane Drive, about three blocks from his home in the 7200 block of Braemar Lane. It is the same home where, exactly five weeks ago on Wednesday, Timothy S. Hanson, 49, was shot to death by a Woodbury police officer during a domestic dispute.

The home is about five blocks from the high school. The partial lockdown, which involved locking doors from the outside and closely monitoring visitors, lasted from about 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The man, who has not been charged, was being held in the Washington County jail, according to Commander Kris Mienert of the Woodbury Police Department. Police disclosed no other details about what led to the search.
