Woman shot to death in north Minneapolis

A woman was fatally shot Saturday in north Minneapolis. At 4:45 p.m., police were called to the 1700 block of Glenwood Avenue on a report of a shooting inside a townhouse-style duplex. Officers found the woman inside, dead of a gunshot wound.

No one had been arrested by Saturday night, but police do not perceive any threat to public safety. The homicide is the city's 16th of the year.
