A 61-year-old woman was killed early this week in southwestern Minnesota while crossing a street.
Noi Meksavanh was struck by a pickup truck about 6:30 a.m. Monday as she crossed Mill Street in Edgerton, Minn. The truck was driven by Jeffrey Einck of Pipestone.
"It was dark and very, very foggy," said Pipestone County Sheriff Keith Vreeman.
Meksavanh was taken to Luverne Sanford Hospital, where she died. The truck driver was not injured.
The State Patrol is assisting the sheriff's office with the investigation.
