A woman who died in a fire in her south Minneapolis home on Friday has been identified as Kelly Ann Dugan, 50, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office. Dugan died of smoke inhalation, authorities said.
Dugan was found in her bungalow-style home at 4539 Minnehaha Av. S., after Minneapolis fire fighters arrived at the scene about 10:15. She was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m. Minneapolis fire investigators say the case is still open and the manner of death has not been determined. A dog also died in the fire.
