A man who reported finding his wife dead in their Eden Prairie home early Thursday is now jailed and accused of murder, authorities said.
The death occurred at a condominium in the 18200 block of Cascade Drive, where police were called about 2:20 a.m. by the husband, according to emergency dispatch audio.
The 61-year-old man was arrested, police said, and he remains jailed on suspicion of murder.
The emergency audio revealed a dispatcher saying that the caller to 911 reported the death as a suicide, and that he woke up and "found his wife with a bag over her head [and she was] cold to the touch."
Authorities have yet to identify the woman or the circumstances surrounding the killing.
