An 84-year-old woman killed in a traffic crash Thursday afternoon in Coon Rapids has been identified as Donna Mae Youso.

Youso, of Anoka, was driving east on Coon Rapids Boulevard at 3 p.m. when she crossed the centerline after being hit from behind by another vehicle. Youso's vehicle then collided with a westbound minivan, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

Youso was taken to a hospital, where she died.

The driver of the minivan, a 61-year-old woman from Coon Rapids, was treated for noncritical injuries at Mercy Hospital.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a driver of a vehicle making a left turn from Coon Rapids Blvd. Extension onto Coon Rapids Blvd. immediately moved into the right lane after completing the turn. That vehicle then clipped the back of Youso's car, sending it across the centerline and into the path of the minivan, said Cmdr. Paul Sommer.

The driver of that vehicle was not hurt.
