A 52-year-old woman from Nisswa, Minn., was found dead in a hot tub at a Plymouth home Saturday night.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office reported Sunday that Kari Dayton died accidentally as a result of drowning in the outdoor hot tub at 7:39 p.m. Saturday.

State records show that Dayton had an elementary teacher's license.

She was visiting relatives at the home where the incident occurred in the 17900 block of 24th Avenue N., said Lisa Kiava, spokeswoman for the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Police are investigating.
