A 32-year-old woman was killed in Brooklyn Park late Tuesday, and a man was arrested at the home in what police are calling a domestic conflict.
Police say they were called to the home in the 8100 block of Hampshire Court N. at about 11:40 p.m.
The woman, identified Wednesday at Ashantai Nicole Finch, died at the scene, police said. The suspect was apprehended there.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Wednesday that Finch had died of a gunshot wound.
Police say they are not looking for any other suspects.
They have yet to offer a motive for the killing, the fourth in the city this week. On Monday, a woman and her parents were killed at their home, which also is a day care. There has been no arrest in that case.
