A Blaine woman wanted to warn others after giving a suspicious caller her credit card information. The man who called said he was from "Cardmember Services" and could lower her credit card's interest rate. The woman ultimately provided her credit card number and other information after being supposedly "conferenced" to her credit card company by the caller. She was then told she "qualified" and $995 would be charged to her card. She immediately canceled her credit card and didn't have to pay the fee. The Better Business Bureau advises people to be wary of these types of calls and to never provide personal information to unknown callers.
