A Chisago County woman suffered minor burns as fire destroyed her home in Chisago Lakes Township Saturday evening.
Woman burned in Chisago County house fire caused by dryer

Karen Nelson was treated at Fairview Lakes Wyoming Hospital, according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office. She had reported to authorities that the fire started when her gas clothes dryer ignited, and the fire spread quickly throughout her house at 26792 Olympic Trail.
After the fire call came in, fire departments responded from Lindstrom, Center City, Shafer and Scandia. The Lake Region EMS ambulance service and Chisago County Sheriff's Office also responded.
