An SUV driver pulling out of her mobile home parking lot in western Wisconsin was struck broadside by a car and killed, authorities said Tuesday.

Darlene R. Breault was dead at the scene about 2:10 p.m., immediately after she left the parking lot in the 1400 block of Main Street in Houlton and was struck on the driver's side of the northbound car, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office.

Vehicles leaving the lot have a stop sign to observe, the sheriff's office added.

Becky Lee Markfort, 27, of New Richmond, Wis., was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with unspecified injuries. A passenger in her car was not hurt.

All three people were wearing their seat belts, the sheriff's office said.
