A woman who was run over by a vehicle two weeks ago while crossing an intersection just down the street from her Bloomington home has died, authorities said.

Melani Sunarti-Nadeem, 65, died Wednesday at Hennepin County Medical Center after having been struck on Jan. 19, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

Sunarti-Nadeem was struck late that morning while crossing Penn Avenue S. at W. 86th Street, about half a block from her home, the medical examiner's office added.

Police said the driver, an 87-year-old man from Bloomington, has not been charged. The investigation is continuing.
