A 19-year-old woman was killed in a rollover collision involving three other vehicles after her car blew a tire Wednesday evening in Steele County, in southern Minnesota, according to authorities.

The woman, from Delano, was headed south on Interstate 35 at about 5 p.m. when the rear tire of her 2001 PT Cruiser blew out, causing her to lose control of the vehicle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The vehicle entered the median and rolled several times, causing it to split in two, according to the patrol. Part of the PT Cruiser came to rest in the northbound lanes and was struck by a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a 2012 Dodge pickup and a 2015 Toyota Highlander.

The 58-year-old driver of the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital with noncritical injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles were not taken to a hospital, according to the patrol.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
