Woman, 19, dies in 2-vehicle crash south of Shakopee

Details of the wreck at W. 150th Street and Baseline Road in Louisville Township have yet to be revealed.

A 19-year-old driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash south of Shakopee, authorities said.

The wreck occurred about 4 p.m. Friday at W. 150th Street and Baseline Road in Louisville Township, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Office.

The woman killed was identified Sunday by the Hennepin County medical examiner's office as Amy M. Holscher, of St. Anthony. She died early Friday evening at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Holscher was a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The pickup driver, Daniel W. Malz, 37, and his passenger, Hugh T. Thissen, 43, both of Belle Plaine, were slightly hurt but did not require hospitalization, the Scott County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities have yet to reveal the circumstances surrounding the crash.
