The Wolves tonight in Oklahoma City play Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Thunder for the second time in three days and will do so without veteran guard Kevin Martin.

Martin said he came down ill fewer than three hours before tonight's 6 p.m. Central tip-off, an hour earlier than usual because the game is the first one on ESPN's Friday night doubleheader.

That conceivably will mean more for players such as Shabazz Muhammad and Zach LaVine.

Martin and rookie point guard Tyus Jones are the Wolves' two inactive players tonight.

The Thunder beat the Wolves 101-96 at Target Center on Tuesday in the first meeting between the two teams this season. They'll play their third game in little more than two weeks when the Thunder return to Minneapolis to play a game there Jan. 27.

The Wolves have lost eight consecutive games and 12 of their last 13.
