Wolves announce first pre-draft workouts

Hoffarber highlights first group

Greetings, again.

The Wolves will bring in its first group of potential draftees for a workout Sunday afternoon at its training facility inside Target Center. These workouts are closed, both to the public and the media; we don't get to talk to the players until the workouts are over. But it's interesting to see who they're bringing in. Former Gophers guard Blake Hoffarber is among this inaugural group

There likely aren't a lot of players with first-round potential here, not even with the Wolves' second pick, which comes at No. 20. And the Wolves don't have a second-round pick this year. At least not yet. But, should the Wolves acquire a second-round pick in a pre-draft deal, these are guys who might be looked at. They could also wind up as potential undrafted free agents. Here is the list, subject to change:

--Blake Hoffarber, G, Minnesota

--Andrew Albicy, G, France

--Paul Carter, F, Illinois-Chicago

--Cameron Hodges, F, Minnesota State, Mankato

--Jacob Pullen, G, Kansas State
