Wizards halt Cavs' run at 13 • WASHINGTON 109, CLEVELAND 101: Gilbert Arenas and the host Wizards recovered after blowing a 14-point second-half lead and ended the Cavaliers' franchise-record 13-game winning streak Thursday. Arenas, playing his second game of the season in his latest return from knee surgery, had 11 points and 10 assists. Cleveland's LeBron James scored 22 of his 31 points in the second half.

• PHILADELPHIA 105, MILWAUKEE 95: Lou Williams had 14 of his 21 points in the second half, and the 76ers rallied from a 13-point first-half deficit to defeat the Bucks in Philadelphia. Andre Miller contributed 11 assists for the Sixers (39-35), who moved past Miami into fifth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Ramon Sessions led Milwaukee with 18 points and 10 assists.

• Former Portland Trail Blazers star Maurice Lucas underwent surgery for bladder cancer. The 57-year-old Lucas is now an assisant coach on the team he helped lead to the 1977 NBA title.
