Winter Storms Galore for Mid-Atlantic

February 3, 2010 at 1:25PM

This could very well turn into another big snowstorm for the mid-Atlantic withamounts ranging from 6-12 inches from central Indiana to southern New Jerseyand Delaware. Amounts will even exceed a foot in the northern I-81 corridor inVirginia. This will be the second major snowstorm for the region within seven days. Couldthere be a third? The computer models say yes. There are indications that evenas this storm leaves Saturday, yet another snowstorm could hit the region nextTuesday.

That would make it four majors. Remember, there was a blizzard back inDecember. Four major snowstorms for the mid-Atlantic in less than 60 days. Iguess one could call it a Winter Grand Slam.
