Tim Olstad is extending his stay in Los Angeles. The Winona native snatched one of the 12 finalist spots on "The X Factor" Tuesday night with his rendition of Bon Jovi's "Always."

It was another night for Olstad to sweat as mentor Paulina Rubio made him wait until the very end before choosing to keep him and eliminate Josh Levi.

Earlier in the month, Rubio actually booted Olstad from the show, only to change her mind after the crowd reacted to her decision with a round of boos.

Due to baseball conflicts, there won't be more eliminations until next Wednesday.
