Winona Co. charge: Man catches woman, 43, having sex with his 13-year-old son

September 3, 2013 at 9:29PM

A man caught a 43-year-old woman naked from the waist down running from his 13-year-old son's bedroom, bringing an end to months of sexual encounters between the two in southeastern Minnesota, authorities said Tuesday.

Pamela A. Fahy, of Hokah, Minn., was charged in Winona County District Court with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and made her first court appearance Tuesday.

According to the criminal complaint:

A man called law enforcement after seeing the half-naked Fahy running from his son's bedroom about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the town of Pickwick. The boy said he and Fahy were having intercourse and had been sexual partners for several months, sometimes in Fahy's trailer.

The boy said he initiated their first sexual encounter and that the incidents sometimes involved oral sex "at various locations," the complaint read.

Fahy acknowledged having sex with the boy at locations in Winona and Wabasha counties.

For the past several years, Fahy has been a licensed foster care provider for children and adults, according to the state Department of Human Services. The agency said it has no record of complaints against her. Her licenses expired on Sunday.
