2015 Bodegas Edetaria Vinya d'Irto Terra Alta

I loves me some grenache blanc, one of the world's most underplanted wine grapes, and soulful renditions like the 2015 Bodegas Edetaria Vinya d'Irto Terra Alta are a big reason why. At $13, less expensive than most of its peers, this Spanish white deftly dances between lush and vibrant, rich and minerally, with lovely tropical and stone fruits and an almost stingily refreshing finish. Here's hoping we start seeing more garnatxa blanca from Catalonia, where 40 percent of the world's crop is grown. This lively white will play well with most any appetizer — it is from Tapas Land, after all — and should pair nicely with pizzas and pastas that aren't too meaty.

Available at Liquor Boy, Cork Dork, Thomas, Selby, Sunfish, South Lyndale, Dolce Vita, Lowry Hill and Lakeside.
