OK, I'm in complete denial now. I am drinking white wines, no matter the weather. And the Waterbrook Melange Blanc ($15) is right in my wheelhouse. Boasting the complexity that one would expect of a blend of seven grapes, it's a juicy, lush, Washington white with just enough bite. Its bright acidity and clean finish make the Melange Blanc a versatile food wine, and the riesling and gewürztraminer in the mix mean it works with spicy Asian dishes in particular.
