Wine
Cottonwood Creek promotes its California White ($10) as organic, but if it was my call, the focus also would be on the grapes. This spritely delight is 59 percent sultanina (a new one on me), 34 percent French colombard (a staple of jug wines now emerging as its own entity) and 7 percent muscat. Lush aromas and super-fresh stone-fruit and melon flavors lead to a clean finish. Try it with pasta with fresh veggies, fish tacos or barbecued chicken. Available at MGM, Coborn's and Morelli's.
