Wine deal of the week: Evolucio Furmint

A cool recent trend is table wines made from grapes normally used for sparkling or sweet stuff, such as xarel-lo (Cava) and touriga nacional (Port). The Evolucio Furmint ($11) is made from the primary component of Hungary's delicious Tokaji dessert wines, and it's a sweet/tart delight. Floral aromas and vibrant fruit flavors lead to a voluptuous mouth feel and a long, clean finish. Try it with goat cheese, grilled or fried chicken and mildly spicy Asian dishes.
