Wine
The folks at Michael David Winery were doing a nice job with their 7 Heavenly Chardonnay. Just not nice enough for them. So welcome the refreshing, flavor-packed first vintage of plain ol' Michael David Chardonnay ($18). A deft touch with oak brings some creaminess to the mid-palate, but this is primarily a fruit-driven wine (peach, melon, tropical fruit). Try it with fish tacos or chicken piccata. Available at Merwin's, Sorella, Cellars (Plymouth), Marketplace Liquor, Bacchus and Rosemount Liquor and Wine Cellars.
