Wine deal: El Coto Rioja Blanco

WINE

It's rare to find an inexpensive white wine with layers of different flavors. That's what makes the El Coto Rioja Blanco 2010 ($10) such a screamin' bargain. Stone fruits, herbal notes and a touch of green apple roll across the palate, although it's the zesty citrus flavors that persist through the clean finish. Made with the viura grape, this perennial standout is about as good a match for fish tacos as you're likely to find, and works with most chicken dishes, grilled zucchini and as a base for white sangria.
